More Gymnastic Success For St Faith’s Pupils

On Sunday 21st January, the school hosted, for the second time, the finals of the ISGA 4 piece National Gymnastics Championships. It was a privilege to host such a prestigious event with 40 teams from 23 schools, some as far away as Dorset, Shropshire, Wales and Belgium visiting.

We are proud to announce that our U9 Boys team came 1st and are National Champions. Team member Max won in the individual category and is National Champion with Harry in 4th place and Reuben in 5th.

Our U11 Boys team also came 1st and became new National Champions. Viraj and James came joint 1st (National Champions), Toby came in 5th, Harry 6th and Isaac 7th. It was an amazing team performance.

The U13 Boys team came 4th which was commendable in this age group. Congratulations to Finn from the U13’s who came 4th individually.

It was an amazing day that would not be possible without Mrs North’s hard work organising the whole event, as well as an army of parent helpers, the maintenance team, Operations Manager and Catering team who provided a BBQ lunch for judges and officials in the snow!

Lastly, a big thanks to all our boys who were a credit to the school and performed so admirably under the supervision of Mr North, Miss Butler and Mrs Astin.

It was a truly memorable day.
