James ‘Jimmy’ Scragg attended St Faith’s from 1985 to 1990.
After St Faith’s he moved on to study at Oundle before continuing on to Lady Margaret Hall at the University of Oxford to read Classics.
James said “My love of Classics was largely kindled by Mr Plommer, whose after school Greek club I used to attend three afternoons per week whilst boarding under Mr Lloyd in Southfield at St Faith’s”.
Once he had completed his Bachelors degree James returned to Oundle to teach before moving to Eton, where he remains, having been at Eton for three years teaching Classics and as Housemaster.
