Year 8 Prefect Tie Presentation

At the start of the school year, the Headmaster confers Prefect status on our Year 8 pupils. Each Year 8 pupil is presented with their distinctive red tie and lapel badge. The Prefect role is a very important one and offers the Year 8s new opportunities for leadership and responsibility, such as buddying, supporting and mentoring the younger pupils. With the theme of ‘being our best selves’ carried through from Foundation to Year 8, we look to our prefects to provide excellent role models to the younger children by the way they conduct themselves at school, and through the kindness they show to others.
