About Us

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

St Faith’s is committed to a policy of equality and aims to ensure that no employee, job applicant, pupil or other member of the School community is treated less favourably on grounds of sex, race, colour, ethnic or national origin, marital status, age, sexual orientation, disability or religious belief. The school has an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Working Group which meets regularly to explore how St Faith’s can actively promote equality, diversity and inclusion, both through the curriculum and in other ways. Recent initiatives have included pupil surveys and staff training. One of the outcomes of the survey results was that the school has taken part in the ADHD Foundation’s Neurodiversity Umbrella Project to celebrate neurodiversity.

The Equal Opportunities Policy can be found on the School website or use the download at the bottom of this page. This reflects our EDI vision statement:

The Leys and St Faith’s Schools Foundation recognises and values all individuals as equal. We want every member of our school communities to feel safe that they belong. Our aim is for everyone to feel that they are treated equitably, and supported to reach their full potential.
