Curriculum and Daily Life

The Preschool curriculum will be based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and be rooted in purposeful, play-based learning. Children will benefit from high-quality continuous provision and carefully structured routines that support communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, physical development, as well as early literacy and mathematics skills.

Preschool children will enjoy regular access to our dedicated Early Years outdoor area, as well as time spent with Reception children for shared activities and learning experiences. There will also be opportunities for Preschool children to enjoy being part of a larger school environment, accessing our Forest School provision, enjoying Music and Spanish sessions as well as Library visits.

The core school day for Preschool will run from 08:15 to 15:15, with drop-off and collection aligned with existing Pre Prep arrangements (drop off from 08:00).
