St Faith’s School Bursar appointment

Mrs Hannah Fox has been appointed School Bursar at St Faith’s, to take up the role from the beginning of the Lent term.

Hannah is currently the Director of Operations at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, where she has been instrumental in overseeing the college’s operational strategies and enhancing the efficiency of day-to-day functions. With a focus on strategic planning and effective resource management, Hannah has contributed to the college’s continued success.

Before joining Fitzwilliam College, Hannah spent seven years as the Business and Operations Manager in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. In this role, she managed a wide range of operational and administrative functions, ensuring the delivery of Departmental activities and supporting the Department’s academic mission.

Prior to her work in higher education, Hannah held various managerial positions within the County Council and Civil Service, where she gained extensive experience in both policy and operational roles. This diverse background has equipped Hannah with a comprehensive understanding of public sector operations and educational settings, and a strong foundation in managing complex organisational structures. Hannah has a proven track record in operational leadership and a passion for fostering collaborative environments.

Outside work, Hannah is an active volunteer in her local community near Ely, being a former cub leader and school governor as well as being a current charity trustee.

We very much look forward to welcoming Hannah to our school community. Ahead of Hannah’s arrival in January, Richard Brent will leave St Faith’s at the end of this Michaelmas Term after sixteen years of outstanding contribution and tremendous dedication the school.
