Admissions

Year 7

There are four classes in Year 7 with an average of 18 children in each class.

We recommend that prospective parents visit the school before application, along with your child if appropriate, so that you can see the school in action and feel confident that it is the right choice.

As part of the admissions process, we ask for a recent school report and your permission to contact your child’s current school for a reference. We like to know as much as possible about how best to support your child’s needs, along with their strengths and talents. On receipt of a completed application, and payment of the £100 registration fee, your child will be invited to an entry assessment.

Entry Assessments generally take place in January, of the year your child would be looking to join us. Space permitting, assessments can be arranged at other times.

Entry assessments are in line with the requirements of the National Curriculum and will cover reading, writing, mathematics and science. Every effort is made to ensure your child’s visit to the school is an enjoyable experience. We will contact you regarding the outcome within two weeks of their assessment taking place.

If you would like to apply for a place at St Faith’s, please visit our admissions portal by clicking on the ‘Apply Online’ button. You will then be able to register for a parent account and start a new application.
