St Faith's Pre Prep
Academic Curriculum
At St Faith’s we pride ourselves on providing a broad, balanced future-focused curriculum to promote children’s learning, personal growth and development.
We promote excellent learning habits which continue throughout St Faith’s and beyond. Our children are encouraged to develop their knowledge and skills; to think critically, solve problems, collaborate and be curious so that they grow to become lifelong learners, fully aware of their abilities and their responsibilities to the world around them.
Our Pre Prep timetable is interspersed with theme days, visitors and trips out to bring learning to life, to enrich our children’s lives and instill a passion for learning. Year 2 Enrichment includes ‘History off the Page’, the StarDome Planetarium and visits to the Scott Polar and Sedgwick Museums in Cambridge.
Year 1 and Reception children enjoy local area walks, including to the University Botanic Garden, author visits for World Book Day, the Pre Prep Mini-Marathon, Sustainability Day and all of the fun and excitement of ‘The Wild Place’, which is our beautiful Forest School.
