St Faith's Prep

Academic Sciences

There are around 1,000 technology and biotechnology companies in the innovation sector known as ‘The Cambridge Phenomenon’ and many of our St Faith’s parents are employed in these sectors. Therefore we have a very clear vision for our STEM education that it should provide the future-focused building blocks for possible careers in these sectors.

The City of Cambridge also provides ample opportunities for pupils to experience first-hand some of the work going on at the cutting edge of scientific innovation, and to support the STEM curriculum we have hosted speakers from local companies like Astra Zeneca and ARM.

Put simply, this means that we want pupils to learn as much as they can, as well as they can – because ambition and quality are the two essential elements of excellence.

A world of future-thinking academic teaching, personal and social development is opened up to children as they enter Year 3 and above.
