Scott Walker is an artist and designer from Dry Drayton, Cambridge. He studied at St Faith’s, The Leys School and Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts, before a design scholarship took him to New York City in 2010, where he completed a BFA in Communication Design at Parsons The New School.
As an art director and designer, Walker has created campaigns for numerous clients, including: Amazon, Chevrolet, Electronic Arts, New York Jets, Nike, Miami Dolphins, Starbucks and Wild Turkey Bourbon.
Within the advertising industry, Walker has been awarded various honors, including: D&AD Best of Year (2013), Behance Portfolio Appreciation Award (2013), 2 x NY Silver ADDY Awards (2012), NY Gold ADDY Award (2012).
As a fine artist, Walker’s artwork has received international recognition from various galleries around the world. In 2013, his work was selected for display in the International Artist’s Festival, curated by the Museum of Russian Art (MoRA). Most recently, in 2014, Walker’s work was awarded Best in Show at the Greenpoint Gallery in Brooklyn, New York.
He now lives in Brooklyn and is currently working on projects for his forthcoming solo exhibition in Brooklyn. Scott produced the following artwork which will be displayed within the school.
